You'll need:
One small elastic
A flower or a bow (if desired)

How to do this hairstyle?
  1. Comb all of the hair back and take a small section from the top. Divide this section into 5 strands. From the left to the right I'll call them 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5.
  2. Take strand 1 and divide it into two.
  3. Cross one half over strand 2 and cross one half under strand 2. Or: bring strand 2 through the middle of strand 1.
  4. Now take the two halfs of strand 1 together again and cross them together over strand 3.
  5. Then take strand 5 and divide it into two.
  6. Cross one half over strand 4 and one half under strand 4. Or: bring strand 4 through the middle of strand 5.
  7. Now take the two halfs of strand 5 together again and cross them together over strand 2.
  8. Repeat step 2 and 3.
  9. Now take a new strand of hair from the left. You're going to add this to the strand you've just split in half. This means crossing the new strand under the far left strand and adding it to the second strand. This should be the strand you've just crossed half over and half under strand 2.
  10. Cross the new strand with your old strand 1 (the strand you split in half) over strand 3.
  11. Repeat step 5 and 6.
  12. Now take a new strand of hair from the right and add it to your old strand 5. This means: crossing it under the far right strand and adding it to the second strand.
  13. Then cross the new strand of hair with your old strand 5 over strand 3.
  14. Repeat step 8 through 13 until you've added in all of the hair.
  15. Then repeat step 2 through 7 until the end of the hair. Finish off with a small elastic and a flower or a bow if you like.
Good luck!
