You'll need:
2 elastics
Topsy tail
Green ribbon, if you like
- Comb all of the hair back.
- Take the top section and put an elastic around it.
- Divide the hair from the ponytail you now have into three equal parts.
- Bring the left and right section to the side and take the middle section.
- Now grab your topsy tail and put it behind the elastic with the end pointing down.
- Put the middle section of hair through the loop of the topsy tail.
- Hold the strand of hair with your fingers. Hold it on the side where the hair goes into the loop of the topsy tail.
- Now carefully pull the topsy tail down. Because you're holding the hair, you're creating the top leaf of your clover.
- Now put the topsy tail behind the elastic with the end pointing towards the right.
- Take the left section of hair from your ponytail and put it through the loop of the topsy tail.
- Repeat step 7.
- Carefully pull the topsy tail to the right. You're now creating the left leaf of your clover.
- Put the topsy tail behind the elastic with the end pointing towards the left.
- Take the right section of hair from your ponytail and put it through the loop of the topsy tail.
- Repeat step 7.
- Carefully pull the topsy tail to the left. You're now creating the right left of your clover.
- Put an elastic around the three strands together. You can shape your clover a little more if you like and if you wish, you can put a green ribbon around the elastic for an extra St. Patrick's Day effect.
Good luck!
